Media & Photographic Release

Please be advised that during your employment with the company you may be photographed or videotaped by Cruiseport Destinations and/or contracted clients, partners, and vendors for the purpose of learning and development, quality assurance, secret shopping, or to document system-use or the guest experience/contact flow.

There is also a possibility of being captured by guests or the media while conducting your work and/or when in uniform. Often news crews will report from our terminals, ports, offices, airports, or other destinations. As part of their reporting, you may be captured on camera and the footage has the possibility of being reproduced and/or broadcast, printed, or digitally distributed. As an employee of Cruiseport Destinations and keeping the integrity of other policies in our Employee Handbook, you are not authorized to speak with the press unless granted permission by Cruiseport Destinations President Jeannette Pineiro and should decline if asked to comment on anything.

As a company, Cruiseport Destinations is usually not given advanced notice or asked for permission to film, nor can the company stop official/licensed press members or contracted companies from doing so while we are operating in public areas.

Please remember that while you are in uniform, whether “on the clock” or not, you are always “on stage” and can be identified as a Cruiseport Ambassador. As such everything you do, how you look and what you say, reflects on you, Cruiseport Destinations, our cruise line clients, and our guests and crew. Please be aware of this and always conduct yourself professionally when in uniform and/or when in the vicinity of any of our work locations before and after work, during breaks, and while on duty.

Understand your responsibility: when you participate in social media in a personal capacity, you are also impacting Cruiseport Destinations' image through the content you publish whether that is wording, images, or videos, likes, dislikes etc. You should keep in mind that you are responsible for what you write/post and ask yourself whether it is relevant to express your opinion in that context and if it may have repercussions. Stop, think, ask. If in doubt, do not post.
